Yep. Although I’m quite proud to be part of this creative endeavor, I am more humbled by the fact that most of the other authors are already distinguished and published writers. I am so overwhelmed!
Anyway, it’s the first piece of mine that ever got published (aside from the articles I wrote for the school paper back in high school). Talk about being a late bloomer. Hehe.
The editor, Vicente Groyon, said that the book will be available in Powerbooks and National Bookstore branches by next week. However, they also have copies selling at the UP Press. It sells for 290 PhP. So if you’re still looking for late Christmas gifts, maybe I can give you a suggestion. *wink-wink*
Check out my story, “Shinjuku Rush Hour” on page 23. It has only about 500 words but those are 500 words that I’m really proud of.
Thanks to family and friends who have been really supportive of my writing. And although I cannot call the book solely my own, I would still have to dedicate the 2 pages of it that are mine to Papa and Mama.
I don’t know if I’ll be able to update before the year ends so I’m going to greet all of you guys a merry Christmas and a happy new year!

That´s very good news, congratulations!!!
I´m still looking for Christmas presents, but even if I could buy one through the net, I don´t think it would arrive before Christmas Eve:).
I must say that you have chosen a great headline, “Shinjuku Rush Hour” sounds exciting. If that was the name of the book (and if it wasn´t pink)I would buy it immediately:).
Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year…and hopefully the book is successful!
